Santa Fe has always been one of my favorite cities in the country. The history, colors of the southwest, Mexican food, and art are all unique Santa Fe. The city itself is a celebration of our nation's heritage. If you're planning a trip to New Mexico, here are a few tips and must-see sights!
As part of our cross-country drive from Washington, DC to Seattle, Washington, we spent the day in Yellowstone National Park. While Yellowstone is known for its beauty, it is also known for crowds. Because of COVID, we had an incredible time with much of the park to ourselves!
I have always loved writing New Year's resolutions and I look back and cross off my goals throughout the year. When writing out my plan, I always divide my yearly goal setting into four main components:
Cusco is rich in history and the tourism capital of Peru. So it isn't surprising that there is history around every corner and down every cobblestone street. Learn about my favorite day trips we took from Cusco:
Our trip to Peru was my first time in South America, and a wonderful introduction to the continent. Lively culture, great food and history pour out of every street. Cusco is nestled in the mountains and is much more relaxed than the capital city of Lima. Cusco is very touristy and offers plenty of Western cuisine and shops to find souvenirs.
Lima, Peru is beautiful in September - a bustling city of nearly 10 million people nestled along the beaches of the Pacific. A vast metropolitan hub, Lima was the first stop in our trip to Peru.
New Orleans has always been a place I’d wanted to visit - from the Cajun cuisine to the French Quarter - I just knew it was going to be a city unlike any other. And boy was I right.
